Great machine, great price!
Acer's 7741G -6426 is a sweet box for the price! I purchased it for my sister who lives out of the country, so my comments are based on second-hand experience -- and many hours of research.
I've only used this laptop for 7 days in order to setup a few things for my sister. I can say that, so far, it exceeds my personal expectations. I was weary of buying a laptop at this price with these specs as I have seen many in the past that were flimsy and cheap feeling and slower then what should be expected. This is simply not the case here.
Pros:
The laptop itself feels fairly solid. I wouldn't want to drop it or anything, but I don't feel like it's going to fall apart when I pick it up.
The 17.3" screen is very nice and vibrant and my photos look great!
The keyboard is about as easy to use as my Logitech keyboard on my desktop, though the keys are a bit stiffer overall. I'm not complaining since I find most other laptops tough to type on.
It's fast!
HDMI Out!
It vents heat very well right out the side.
Overall, it is a great buy!!

Simply Outstanding!
I am a returning Onkyo customer and have been so simply because of its dynamic sound; subtlety and detail in abundance; nice to use; eight HDMI inputs; good network functionality, two HDMI outputs! There are enough inputs and outputs to connect my MiniDisc player/recorder, CD/SACD player, Record Player, Blu-ray Player, VHS Player and Satellite DV! I LOVE IT!!
