Common Threads weaves together the strands of comfort and harmony. I started this business in 1987. Common Threads has always been a family business. All three of us, Jen, Shawn and Elena are Gemini's. We are an interesting balance of homesteading on Fox Briar Farm, Laffing Horse Crafts and travel & retail as Common Threads. We raise our animals using natural, healthy methods in their family groups and in big pastures where they have plenty of room to enjoy life. We enjoy & respect them as individuals. We are crafters at the Colorado Renaissance Festival, Norman Medieval Fair and Louisiana Renaissance Festival. We also teach, demonstrate and vend at wool shows and craft fairs around the United States. Our goal is to share our passion for fiber arts with anyone who has an interest. Today's world is so fast paced and stressed out. We want to teach people how fit a little bit of the peace that spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting and felting can bring into their lives.
