All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I'm an artist and a jeweler, thus the ebay name. I'm always creating something. Always up to something new. I love experimenting with new styles and take inspirational cues mostly from nature. I find the colors and shapes in nature so amazing.

InterestsQuality
I work with the best products. My jewelry is of the highest quality. I don't skimp on quality and everything I sell is made by hand in my studio. I fell in love with nail crosses when I lived in Texas and added my own style with the beads and semi-precious stones. It was a natural extension of my facination with jewelry-making.

I've sold my work in specialty stores in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico as well as art galleries and, now with eBay, all over the US. My items have been well received by people who look for quality. I have many repeat customers and treasure each one.

On Diabetes
On November 2007, my then 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. Doctors and Scientists still don't know what is the cause of this condition. Unlike Type 2 Diabetes, Type 1 is not caused by eating habits. There are theories but no solid reasons and therefore no cure . . . yet. There is a wonderful charity foundation working towards a cure, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). I will donate as much as I can from my proceeds to them. Should you be in a bind for an ultra special gift consider a donation in that person's name to the JDRF and lets try to find a cure for my daughter and all the children in the world with this condition.
Thank you so very much, Tai
Personal History
A friend asked me to include my personal history which she finds very interesting so here it is:
I am a Cuban American. Emigrated to the US in 1980 during the Mariel Boatlift with my brother and parents. It was a difficult and scary transition. I left most of my family behind. My parents had to work hard to keep the family fed. I will always be grateful to the US and President Carter for welcoming me into the country. I graduated each of my schools (primary, secondary, and high school) at the very top and was always quoted to be an overachiever. I value quality education and am grateful to all the teachers in the world for improving our lives. I did complete college and have a degree in Political Science, of all things. I teach my children to thank soldiers when we spot them in their uniforms, because freedom is the greatest gift every American takes for granted. Every soldier, airman, sailor and marine makes sacrifices to safeguard that which is not free.
