I love all things electronic: my Mac, my iPod Touch, my six cell phones (I have just one wireless account and only use one phone at a time). The funny thing is that I rarely use them to talk; I do everything BUT make phone calls. Instead I surf the web, IM, text message, take pictures, listen to music. I also create custom ringtones. My latest is the theme song to the Itchy and Scratchy Show.

Although eBay is a hobby of mine, professionally I have been in customer service for 20 years. Everyone is a customer at various times during the day; each one of us knows how we want to be treated. I DEFINITELY know how I want to be treated as a customer. So that's how I treat my employer's customers and that's how I treat others on eBay ⎯ the same way that I want to be treated.

Give people as much accurate information as possible. Show them respect and answer their questions honestly. Rely on open communication. Treat everyone as if they've already won the auction. Appreciate every buyer, as well as every potential bidder or buyer, and make sure they know that I do. Never make empty promises and always strive to exceed the buyer's expectations.

I'm not a real cowboy but I used to pretend, never cleared brush for the TV cameras though. Just wore the hat and boots and listened to David Allan Coe. Despite the fact that I grew up in Cowtown (Fort Worth), the first boots I ever put on were my Aggie Senior Boots. We moved to Texas from Ohio when I was four. Non-native Texans have a saying: 'I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I could!' Contrary to what some believe, not all Texans are dimwitted -- just the ones born in CT. When the mercury hits 90, most of us have the sense to head for a body of water or else stay inside where it's cool. I'm addicted to year-round A/C. Luckily, there's no shortage of it here, just like there's no shortage of lakes, beaches, rivers, ponds, 'tanks', swimmin' holes, swimming pools, water parks, sprinklers, or Slip 'n Slides.
