Beat my modest expectations
The LiDE 400 Flatbed scanner exceeded my modest expectations. I am using it to digitize the shoeboxes full of snapshots that our family accumulated over the years. I particularly liked the device's ability to scan up to four 3x5 snapshots on a single pass, creating separate digital images for each photo. The ScanGear scanning option is much slower (single images only) but does a fair job of correcting damaged, faded or scratched photos.
