MacGowan's is a division of FaerieLand Candle est. 2003. MacGowan's was started when my friends told me there were no tankards on the market like the ones I made for them as gifts. I did a little research and found this to be true. I made several tankards and took them to a Renaissance festival in Kansas City and sold out the first weekend!
Since then MacGowan's has grown to become a well respected wood-craft company that receives orders from all over the country. My biggest successes to date are the Pyrate Tankard; Segmented Tankard; and wooden canteens. Ordered by Brandon Hillock (Disney's original Jack Sparrow); Martin Klebba and Lee Arenberg, of Pirates of the Caribbean, the custom Pyrate Tankard has become a huge hit. Each tankard carries a lifetime warranty, but we have yet to have one returned to us - that's how durable our tankards are!

Payment policy
MacGowan's currently accepts PayPal only for web orders, but we can take credit card information over the phone if necessary. PayPal is far more secure and we feel more comfortable using it as our only accepted method of payment. Your safety and privacy is our priority!
Shipping information
MacGowan's uses DHL as our preferred shipper. DHL is less expensive than other carriers and we have never had an item broken while using them. We charge a flat fee for shipping ground - this is our free shipping. For expedited orders and overnight orders we also charge a flat fee that is listed on our page.
Return policy
It is our policy to create a hassle-free and friendly shopping environment for our customers. MacGowan's has NEVER required an explanation for returns as long as the item was never used and is returned to us in the same condition it was shipped. If an item arrives damaged from shipment simply notify us and we take care of insurance paperwork and other necessary arrangements.
Upon arrival of your return you will be reimbursed for the cost of the item.
