eBay My World: jml.nll( 275)

eBay is a part time hobby for me. I work full time, go to school and am a mom, so eBaying occupies some of my free time.

Lots of McDonalds happy meal toys :) I can usually get the toys before they are released to the public. Also, I am trying to streamline my 'collection' of goodies around the house, so once in a while, something different is thrown in the mix.

Video games, DVDs, and whatever seems to strike my fancy at the moment.

Movies, Precious Moments and anything Snoopy. I also keep a watchful eye out for a good deal on Transformers and Nintendo merchandise for my son.

Huge Law and Order junkie, also Jon and Kate plus 8 and CSI are ones I try not to miss.

I usually only accept Paypal. Once in a while, if a seller contacts me before bidding, I will accept a Postal Money Order. Paypal just makes things smoother and offers some buyer protection for my bidders.

I charge a flat rate for most of my auctions. Most of my toys ship USPS first class, with the occasional Priority package. I use recycled materials to ship and have gotten a little creative on occasion, but I always make sure that the item is well secured inside whatever box I find to ship in. My flat rate S/H covers the shipping and what materials I still have to purchase, as well as the time and fuel costs to get me to the post office a few days a week. I try to keep my shipping and handling costs as low as possible since I understand that shipping does influence bidding.
