Good value, but a nice/novelty product
This knife has a ceramic blade and carbon fiber scales. The blade is quite sharp, but ceramic is tough or impossible to resharpen and relatively brittle. This particular model is comfortable to hold and use, but the blade is stiff to open and close. Overall, it's a solid deal for what I paid ( $20), but I would never use and abuse it as I would a basic steel blade.

Unusable and buzzy low notes
1 of 1 found this helpful This is probably the cheapest kalimba on the market. It shows. I'd personally buy it again, but for use as a sound-effect rather than a kalimba per se.
The wooden acoustic box is finished roughly but has good tone, resonance, and strength.
The keys strongly resemble garden rake tines. They produce pleasant and pure sounds overall.
The fundamental problem is that the middle keys lack adequate support to ring properly. Of the 10 keys, only the outer 5 (shortest) make tones at a reasonable volume. The inner 5 long notes make either (1) very very faint and muddy tones, or (2) loud buzzy sounds. In conjunction they create a sort of "frogs croaking plus bees" song. The longer key sounds also resemble the sound of fret buzz on a guitar.
All in all, this is a novelty rather than a serious usable instrument. But, the cost is low so it's still a decent value.

Flimsy even as a letter opener
This knife goes for $1 or so on Ebay. It's not worth even that much. Mine arrived with a broken lock button. Basic sheet metal is attached to plastic, so the whole unit tends to flop around. I'd use it as a letter opener, but not a stable or sturdy one.
