does not fail "safe" like the factory controller generally does
I do not recommend this part. Mine failed in a little less than two years of service. The worst part, however is that it failed catastrophically and gave no power to the fans at all, which mean the car will overheat immediately when driving at lower speeds. The Factory part tends to fail "safe" by leaving the fans running all the time.
