ECS (Elite Group) A928 iBuddie4
If you are looking for a good desktop replacement that fits where a desktop won't, the A928 "iBuddie4" might be for you. It is a hybrid called a "DESKNOTE." The iBuddie4 is a powerful Pentium 4 cased in a larger laptop-type case similar to a G730-732. But it incorporates desktop RAM and has the solid feel and sturdiness you never get in a laptop. You can get an optional battery pack. But I use mine as a spare computer on a small table using the AC power. The screen is big. It has a DVD player/CDRW optical drive. The speakers are above average quality and fairly loud. The keyboard is nice with a good palm rest area and handsome layout. You will be better off with a cooling tray (as with any laptop). Pentium 4s get hot. But their performance is worth a little extra care. The computer is fast, powerful, and capable of doing most things for business or casual use. It comes with Windows XP. Drivers are readily available on the ECS site. It is a very good computer that performs well.

Possibly the BEST EVER Electric Shaver!
I own several of these 8000 Braun shavers. The LCD models are the fanciest and priciest. The Activator, 360 Complete and Series 5 (8000 models, before the design change) are all the same mechanically and the best for my money. The construction is solidly German-made. Braun shifted to a sleeker ergonomic design after the 8000 shavers. Some shavers are wet/dry, others in the premium line Series 7 have "pulsonic" technology that is supposed to lift facial hair better. Since I get superbly close shaves with my 8000 models, I cannot see where "upgrading" to the 7 Series is necessary or even as good. I also don't want to shave in the shower. The 8000 shavers are not for the shower and shave best before you shower when the skin is dry and tight. I highly recommend the 8995 360 Complete shaver and all shavers with or without LCD in this series.

GOOD STORY -- NOT EVERYONE"S 'CUP OF TEA."
I saw this mini-series on PBS many years ago. My memory is more fond of it than my recent experience. First, McShane is brilliant and the ensemble cast hold up well. But, unless you're especially interested in the subtleties of British politics during the Victorian era, you may be quite bored. It is worth watching, as the acting - especially of McShane - is superb.
