Motorola Milestone
Great phone, has great capabilities! So far, I have had nothing but great experiences with it, with none of the quirks that I was used to experiencing on Motorola phones in the past!

HTC Desire - Not Desirable
Great phone on paper. The specs simply cannot be denied. Sense UI is spectacular. The phone it self sucked though - it overheated 5-6 times per day, and would get stuck in boot loops where the only way to stop it was to remove the battery. Look around on the web, this is a common problem amongst the AMOLED Desires. I cannot comment on the SLCD Desires because I have not had one. All I am saying is do your research before you purchase one of these, HTC did do ANYTHING for me when I wanted warranty support.
