During the booming economy, it seemed that any piece of equipment over 6 months old was considered obsolete and discarded. Now, so many companies are downsizing or going out of business that even brand new equipment is sold for pennies on the dollar. Here at Junktronix.com, we try to make some of the more interesting and unusual Silicon Valley Surplus items available to the rest of the world.

We most packages by USPS. We never add a packaging or handling charge.

Many of the items we sell are offered AS-IS with no warranty. This includes laser diodes which we have tested and are known to be working, but which can easily be damaged by static electricity or overheating. This means that we will not accept returns or issue refunds unless the item is significantly different than the auction description. Please keep this in mind when bidding on AS-IS items. We also offer some items with a DOA warranty. This means that you have 7 days from receipt of the item to test it. If you find that the item is not working as specified in the auction, you may return it for a refund (less shipping and handling charges). If you wish to return an item, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt to make arrangements and you must make sure that we receive it within 7 days of our reply.
