My name’s Madonna Lay, I’m 51, I’ve lived in Cantonment FL for 28 years, I graduated from Pensacola High School in 1975, I married my High School Sweet Heart Alvin Lay in January 1976, I started working at Harrells Drugs Store in downtown Pensacola FL at the age of 15, I also worked at Bachus Pharmacy and Andersons Drugs Store {all owned by the same person} I was blessed enough to be able to quite work and stay at home when my daughter was born in 1980, I haven’t had a real job since then; I was a stay at home mom before it was cool to be one. I was a care giver to my mom up until she died of lung cancer; at one time I took care of my granddaughter and 4 of my friends children full time while they worked. I also took care of my Father-in-Law here at home for 9 years until it came to be I myself needed medical care; I basically retired and started taking care of my own well being.
