My husband and I live in Madera, California. We both are lifetime residents and high school sweethearts. We married in 1979 and own what is left of his parents ranch. We currently reside on 20 acres of pasture land with cattle, dogs and cats.

I have a recent love of scapbooking so, I tend to splurge on scrapbooking items.

Drawing (pen, pencil, and charcoal), Writing (poetry), Photography (landscapes, animals, custom hot rods), Hunting, Fishing and scrapbooking.

I will read anything Larry McMurtry, Nicholas Sparks, Nicholas Evans, John Grisham or non-fiction animal stories.

I enjoy old movies from the early 40's through late 50's and currently anything with Tom Selleck, Kevin Costner, Robert Duvall, or Tommy Lee Jones. I wish Sam Elliot would do more movies. i am very partial to westerns.

I was raised on country and gospel music. I still enjoy both along with rock (both alternative and hard), classic rock, oldies, mowtown, jazz, pretty much anything except rap or hip hop.

I enjoy good sitcoms, CSI, the new Bill Engvall show, and alot of A&E, TLC, and Discovery channels.
