Kaguayo began operating in 2006 with the intention to promote the Honduran art and culture through its handmade crafts elaborated by 7 different ethnic groups of our country. With each buy you are contributing with the development of our communities.

We sell lencan jewellery, silver jewellery with mayan designs, pearl jewellery, lencan pottery, articles made of preciouse wood such as wine holders, coasters, plates, jewellery, beer mugs, coffee cups, bowls. We also have home decor such as ceramic lamps, pewter clocks, pewter articles, pictures with ethnic designs and much much more articles made by our ethnic artisans that still conserve their ancestors technic, some from the pre colonial days!! Each pice is unique in its design and has great cultural value.

Kaguayo means lizard in native tongue and we began operating in 2006 with the intention to promote the Honduran art and culture through its handmade crafts elaborated by 7 different ethnic groups of our caribbean country. Some of our ethnic groups are the maya-chorti which are located in the north west of our country, they make preciouse seed jewellery, each piece has a meaning to them such as the deer eye that simbolizes energy. We also work with the lencan community, they come since the pre-colonial times and they produce beautiful pieces made of clay, its process is 100 percent eco-friendly and hand made since its materials are mud, ashes and leaves and the pottery its burned in stone ovens, custom that they still perserve from their ancestors.
