I have had a passion for food my entire life. I started making candy when I was a young teenager! I loved it. After the birth of my son, in 1986, I started to teach myself how to decorate cakes. I started out with the novelty pans that I purchased from the previous owner's of Sweet Beginnings and found decorating cakes and making candy was very relaxing! I worked for the Federal Government as a Postal Clerk for a number of years until my son graduated high school. After he graduated, I quit my job to follow my dream of opening my own cake and candy shop. I bought Sweet Beginnings which was a cake and candy supply store that would, also, instruct you with your own projects that you would want to work on. It was my favorite store to shop! After I purchased Sweet Beginnings, I added ready made cakes, candies, cookies, pastries and a variety of other very yummy desserts! I pride myself in being able to create anything. My motto is, The impossible just takes a little longer!

Returns accepted only if it is our error. All claims must be made within 3 days of receipt of the order. We will refund the cost of all non-edible merchandise returns that are received in unopened and undamaged condition, subject to a 25% restocking fee; however, we will not refund the cost of shipping. Sorry, no returns are accepted without prior approval. All returned merchandise must be shipped prepaid. Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable. No returns on sale items or bulk foods or special ordered items. Items must be returned within 3 days of approved return date. Buyer will pay all return shipping charges. We do not guarantee ANY products damaged in transit due to extremes in temperature, nor will we replace said products. For health and safety reasons, no returns/refunds allowed on bulk foods, bulk spices, or bakery items.

We are not shipping any orders on Thursday & Fridays unless they have a gel pack as we don't want them sitting in a hot warehouse or UPS / USPS vehicle all weekend. Gel packs are an additional fee at buyer’s expense. Please request this before you pay for your order.
