As a child I had to share a dolls house with my two sisters, so you can imagine how much it means to me to have my very own.I now have two dolls houses one from a charity shop which I am having great pleasure re-decorating and furnishing it, the second a new one which my husband has assembled for me. I used to work with the elderly until I had to retire from ill health, so my dolls house hobby, together with baking characters cakes helps me through the down days. Hi I am a 38 year old mother with 2 sons who have over the last 4 years been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, they have both had very severe cases and have ended up having to have illiostomies which is total removal of the large intestine (colon) they both now have colostomy bags but cope very well with them. As you can imagine it was all very stressful and I am just learning to live again hense the dolls house. I have always wanted one since I was a small child and am now very exited. I am hoping it will stop me from moving the furniture around in my real house as I seem to have some kind of moving furniture disorder! Lets hope its a cure before I do my back in!
