Katherine Munro was born in Newfoundland and started painting and drawing at a very young age. She studied with various Newfoundland artists in her teens and as a young adult spent almost 3 years studying Fine Art in Mexico.

I have been in business in the arts for most of my adult life. I started selling my art cards when I was in high school back in the early 80's. Then I began selling my watercolors and prints until recently I have been doing a lot of fabric dyeing and painting on silk. I was born in Newfoundland and now live in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. I sell my items in many fine craft stores and gift shops in Canada and the USA.

Are these too weird?Hi All,I've been doing more strange faces and these latest ones are pretty strange! I don't know where they come from! I started out with a Tibetan Mahakala face to start with but they turned out more like Shamans or Incan god like creatures. I added some black by hand painting it on to bring out and define the detail more.
