I'm 66, married 44 years to same guy and we live in Mexico. I'm short, plump, red-headed and brown eyed.

Things I collect
I only collect coffee mugs from places where we have been or ones that family members give me. I have over 300 now, from all over the world. I am a sterling silver junkie; I have service for 20 in one pattern, plus extras from the 19th century. Probably service for 30; it's great when we have parties. I have a lot of sterling hollow ware: lots of serving and decorative pieces. I'm a Christmas junkie, too, and always buy a little something that I can hang on my tree. I love Lenox tableware; does anybody have anything in the Rock Garden pattern? I love clothes: silk, cotton, linen, cashmere and soft wool. I buy in the US or have stuff made for me.

Politics, specifically Democratic politics. I love watching the Republicans make fools of themselves. I wince when I watch the Dems shooting themselves in both feet. Cooking and baking.
Favorite Books
All over the map -- I read cereal boxes. Right now I'm half in love with Guido Brunetti of Donna Leon's wondrous books about Venice. I discovered these in Venice and bought all of them that I could find. We've been reading Dick Francis since the first year we were married. I love Kathy Reichs' books about her forensic anthropologist, Temprance Brennan. Yes, all you 'Bones' fans: she's a real person and she writes great books. Not for the squeamish.
Favorite Movies
From stirring sagas to soppy romances -- again all over the map.
'Hope and Glory, ' 'Bridge on the River Kwai, ' and dozens I'll watch just for stunning performances.
Favorite Music/Bands
Sorry, mostly deaf. What music? Although Beethoven's 9th played really loud moves me to tears. And I love the piccolo solo in 'The Stars and Stripes Forever.'
