Works on my 857d great
There isn't much for instructions. It took some research and advice. I am far from an expert. But, even a novice like me can do it. It control my rig great. It made programming with CHIRP a snap.
Make sure device manager on Windows and the radio software are programmed the same. Make sure the radio baut rate is the same as all three too. It is that simple. The 857d manual tell you to bits and stop rate. It is 8 and 2.
My signalink is on a different port and it is VOX.
I hope I am saying this all right. Good luck. I do recommend the cable. Plus, it came about 10x faster than anything I have ever ordered from China.

Worked fine. It was a solid construction and light weight. It installed perfectly. Rugged and i don't care if i ding it up.

Looks great
