Our Quality Assurance Process
Every vinyl record we sell has undergone a very stringent Quality Assurance Process. Every vinyl record is cleaned prior to the play grading process, and cleaned again just prior to being packed for shipment. In addition to the standard visual grading, every vinyl record is play-graded in it's entirety for absolute quality assurance. Typically we only sell records which grade NM- or better, unless it's an extremely rare and collectible disc. We clean all of our vinyl records very meticulously on a Nitty Gritty 2.5fi (fluid injection) using ample amounts of Pure2 cleaning solution. This cleaning process virtually sanitizes the disc surfaces removing the hidden contaminants from deep within the grooves, resulting in a static-free fresh vinyl disc. The discs are immediately stored inside brand new anti-static innersleeves. The jacket and disc are then stored inside their new 5 mil outersleeve, which are also included with each purchase.
Packing and Shipping Process
All of our open/unsealed vinyl records are packed with the vinyl outside the jackets and neatly stored within their 5 mil outersleeve behind the jacket. This prevents potential seam splits during shipping. We double bubble wrap our items and use slightly larger heavier-gauge cardboard LP shipping boxes which allow room around all of the edges for the extra bubble wrap, which also helps prevent corner and edge bumping, a typical result of the smaller lower quality LP mailers.
