Animal Rescue
Here at Kitty Colony we strive to help as many animals as we can, but the economy has hit hard, and adoptions have slowed. We are a small, all volunteer group that relies on donations, and funds are very limited right now. We have started to look to other venues for fundraising, and are hoping that selling on Ebay will help in part to raise funds to help pay for needed veterinary care, medical supplies and/or foster home supplies. We have recently brought into our foster system several cats rescued from a situation of severe neglect/abuse. These cats are still recuperating from the effects of malnutrition, parasites, skin infections and various illnesses/diseases. The expense of the medical costs as well as the foster care supplies needed for these cats has been almost more than we can handle. Kitty Colony needs your support this kitten season to help us over this financial hurdle. Please visit our website at www.KittyColony.com for the story of these sweet survivors.
Business InformationHistory/background
Kitty Colony Inc. was founded in Lancaster County PA. Due to the high number of stray barn cats and kittens, Cat Rescue is very much in demand and we strive to help fill in the gap and do what we can to better the lives of the homeless feline population.
We are a small group, and we do not have a shelter, we rely on foster homes to house our cats and kittens. Our cats stay with us until they are adopted, this may be weeks, months, or even years!

Kitty Colony firmly believes in Trap, Neuter, Return, and strives to lessen the burden on our community by spaying/neutering stray/feral/outside cats and kittens. If we have the foster space, and the cat/kitten is deemed adoptable or the home/location deemed dangerous, we will take the cat/kitten into our foster system until a suitable home can be found.
