Buy a Better Record Player
2 of 2 found this helpful Although it looks great, the sound quality is very poor, in addition, when the volume knob is turned on but kept down low, there is a pulsating hum that is annoying. When you turn the volume up it does cover it up. The built in speakers are very poor quality on their own, but at least is has a jack in the back that you can plug in a tuner and use your good speakers with it and that helps a lot. You better get a magnifier to see the 33-1/3, 45 & 78 on the RPM switch because they're black on a black background so just remember the top is 33, middle 45 & bottom 78.
It has a switch that's supposed to make the tone arm automatically return when the record is finished, but it doesn't work in either position, so I manually move it back to its arm rest.
Overall, I wish I would have just put the money I paid towards a better player.
