Greetings! I've been enjoying Ebay, both buying and selling for 11 Years. Stamps, Coins (especially Errors & Varieties), Philatelic Covers, Xmas Seals & More!...for other pastimes, I enjoy Birdwatching, playing Scrabble and tending to my Cats

My name is Scott Klynstra, my Ebay Handle is KLYNSTRA, I sell United States Coins, and Worldwide Coins, I also sell US Coins Varieties and Errors, I also offer United States Plate Block assortments. Eventually I will begin selling some real nice Foreign Stamps.

I buy decent condition, First Day Covers, prior to 1935, for my collection. I don't collect older FDC's which have been 'slit open' as that essentially degrades the value of the Cover, much like a HINGED STAMP is worth much less than a NEVER HINGED stamp.

I collect First Day Covers from the United States, primarily issues prior to 1935. That is my collecting endeavour. All the other 'stuff' I run into, I sell on Ebay!

Outside of Ebay activities: Birdwatching, Travelling the California Coast, I'm an ITSYOURTURN.com online games, JAMBLE (much like Scrabble) aficionado, reading, watching Movies from the 30's and 40's (especially old Johnny Mack Brown Westerns along with any Tex Ritter Western 'musicals', writing Chinese Calligraphy (Characters)....and of course, Bird-watching (especially in Costa Rica!)

Walden and any other work by one of America's greatest authors, Henry David Thoreau, anything by Carlos Castaneda, Voltaire, Spanish Novels for language practice, Chinese Language Texts, all the Philatelic & Numismatic Mags too! I was divorced from the Television Set 15 more than years ago and will never allow it back in my home, nor my life. The horror. Passive life ruiner, TV is the Evil of all Evils.

My Ebay operation is a pastime & hobby combined. I have no desire to become 'rich' selling on Ebay. I couldn't if I wanted to as I'm addicted to buying too!

As many are now aware, the only acceptable method of payment on Ebay is through Paypal. This works for me. No more Checks! Hooray!! Also, commencing Sept. 22, 2009, the SELLER is entirely responsible for the cost of Insurance when shipping any item! There will no longer be an 'Insurance Optional' clause; I'll ship items costing less than $10, via 1st-Class Mail and charge actual cost, usually .61 Cents; On items costing $10 to $20, I'll ship using Delivery Confirmation with actual cost being $2.36, I'll charge $1.50 and share the expense; On items over $20, I'll ship insured for actual value and again, I'll Charge just $1.50 and share the costs to insure. We all need to work together with this new Ebay Policy!

I have a strong aversion to charging (read 'assessing') my winning bidders with any OUTLANDISH P/H fees. It bugs me to see some seller charging $4.95 to mail you a 'nickel' or a 'set of stamps'! Spare us. I try to charge as close as possible to the ACTUAL COSTS.

As long as I'm still active......breathing.......on this side of the dirt.......you can return anything you've EVER purchased from me. Although I've only had 1 return in 13,000 transactions, this pledge will always remain valid. I'm here. Easy to contact. Ain't goin' nowhere!
