If you've ever done a transaction with me on ebay,either as a buyer or a seller,it was likely a good experience.I think I am fair and honest and try to treat people the way I like to be treated.I buy because I am hopeless and sell because I am poor:)

I have been a collector for as long as I can remember. Most of what I sell is stuff I have accumulated over time; mostly sterling silver charms, vintage jewelry and Mexican silver. Oh yeah - there are also fish and mermaids.

The first thing I bought on ebay was a large silver seashell charm from seller I am still shopping with. Thank you Barbara. I buy tiny boxes, vintage silver just about anyrhing that catches my attention, old mesh purses and charms. Always charms.

What don't I collect would be a better question. My husband doesn't understand how a vintage wroght iron patio table and chairs found in the alley on trash day can be considered a find. Due to his quote -you don't have room for anymore of this junk- attitude, many of my current collections are small jewelry items and miniatures. I have been on furniture restriction since I brought home a bank of old school gym lockers I found behind the laundry mat.

I wanted to raise my son at the beach so when he was 4 years old, I had the opportunity to rent an old beach house where I have been for 13 years now. There is no heat, except for the fireplace, no dishwasher, garbage disposal, water pressure or laundry facility. There are termites, mildew, 2 tiny closets, 1 bathroom, no garage or insulation, a 1940s stove with only one temperature-HOT, tricky plumbing, drafts, leaks in the roof, and a huge livingroom window with a picturesque panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and on most days, Catalina Island, that makes it all worth while. We like the water and are at the beach most weekends when it's warm. I am teaching my son to play racquetball, which I played often in my teens and 20s and am now revisiting due to what I like to call Ebay Butt. We also enjoy sailing ( I don't do the actual sailing myself. I'm more the make sure everyone has a beer and a snack type.), I also make jewelry and have just started selling some of the millions of beads that I could

Calypso, especially Harry Belefonte, John Meyer, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and yes, I am a Parrot Head and wouldn't miss Jimmy Buffett for anything. The last CD I bought was Amy Winehouse.

Lost and Grey's Anatomy are the only ones I really care about. I did kind of get into The Sarah Silverman Show, Dirt and The Riches this year. All entertaining. I sometime see 24 beacuse the boys watch it.

I am not a business person by nature. I buy. I sell. Ebay has been a perfect environment for me to accomplish these things. However, Ebay is not my life. I have been known to ignore the computer for 6 or 7 days in a row. By then, the email is into the 1,000s and getting through it is always a chore. I never purposly ignore someone, it just takes me a while to get back to you sometimes. I apologize in advance if this happens to you. Often times I am right on top of it. Just hang in there and if I don't get back to you, go ahead and remind me (but please don't leave negative feedback after hounding me with 5 emails over 3 days, calling me names and hating me for not being at your becon call.) You are important to me but my priorities will always be my teenage son, my husband, my life and ebay. I hope you can understand.

I don't consider my Ebay activities as a business. My last real job was as the Production Manager/Director of Communications for a Risk Management/Insurance trade periodical. The company was sold in August so I lost my job of 10 years and am now still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

Unless you are a seller, you have no idea how much time and energy goes into keeping up with payments and shipping of Ebay items. I usually ship USPS 1st Class and include insurance on valuable items such as glassware and antiques. My shipping prices include handling and materials and although I have been told I am high, this is what I think is fair so if it is not acceptable to you, please don't shop here. I try to always state a shipping cost on every auction and I do combine at a dicount over 3 days.

I state that all of my items are used and/or old and try to describe the assets and the flaws of each. Vintage jewelry means old jewelry that was likely worn by someone else before you. Commensurate with age means there is wear to this item because it is old and was worn by someone before you. Please keep this in mind when buying vintage jewelry online. I only accept returns when an item was misrepresented in my description.
