I fell in love with Japanese textiles ever since I lived in Kyoto in the mid-1990's. I started selling kimono, obi and fabric on line in 1999 through my website: www.kyotokimono.com. Come visit!

I wouldn't claim to be an expert, but I have learned a lot about Japanese textile techniques and traditional garments in the last 15 years. I would be happy to share what I know and recommend other resources.
