Output is not the brightest
Took old filament turn signal bulbs out for these and bottom line is they work. They work okay, definitely not as bright as the stock bulbs but I feel 'just' safe enough to keep them. Potentially not visible in bright sunlight...

Great value and features
I replaced all five of my barely functioning 1970s era bimetallic strip thermostats with these new programmable ones and the difference is amazing. I previously had incredibly high electric bills with minimal control of the temperature and now I have perfectly calibrated heat in my home and I'm saving 30% on my electric bill. The 5-2 day programming is nice, I have it set to be warm when I wake up, and then when I come home from work. Cool during the day, and while I sleep. On the weekends I have it warm all day, and cool when I go to bed. I couldn't be happier.
The wiring is easy to hook up. The old thermostats were 4 wire, these are 2 wire. Simply wire nut the two gray wires together in the box, then connect the two black to the other two black. The thermostat is non-polarized so you don't need to know which is from the source and which is to the baseboard.

Little difference between brightness
I plugged these in my car last night and the tail light "filament" works fine, but when I stepped on the brake the change in intensity was barely noticeable. Maybe a 10% increase in output level, not anywhere close to regular bulb output. Not safe enough to use during day time driving.
