eBay My World: la-boo-teek( 2961)

We should of been born earlier as we are die hard VINTAGE fans of just about everything! Especially things from the 40's, 50's, and 60's.

Because we LOVE AND LIVE VINTAGE, we sell just about anything from a soap dish right on up to vintage clothing and accessories.

We buy 99.9% vintage and what we think you'd like and attempt to cater to all of our eBay friends. So whether it is pottery, ephemera, clothing, whatever! We will find it and list it.

Well, our entire living room and kitchen is definitely 50's. So we go searching for 50's items for ourselves and you too :-)! Another thing the wife likes to collect is Ransburg pottery, and the husband, collectible die cast muscle cars from the past. The husband also has a habit of bringing home, ahem, project cars and we now have a 1965 Corvette waiting for him to get started. Now that has been since 1980 :-)! Will that car ever make it out of the garage?

SHOPPING, SHOPPING, AND MORE SHOPPING! Well, eating is another :-)!

Who has time to read? Some folks think since you work from home, you have loads of free time > NOT! We shop, we schlep the items, we clean the items, take pictures of the items, upload the pictures, edit, do the descriptions, and LIST, LIST, LIST! Not to mention the packing, printing labels, going to the Post Office, and shipping. WHEW - read a book you ask?

The wife is a die hard rock and roller. Favorite bands are the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, The Eagles, and the list could go on forever. The husband is a fan of Country music but since the wife is writing this and doesn't listen to much Country music, she's unsure of what bands/singers he likes.

Well, Antique Roadshow, of course. The wife likes a lot of HGTV (great, give her projects for the husband to do). The husband loves the Sci-Fi channel, and of course NFL football.

We credit LA-BOO-TEEK to our Uncle Herman and Aunt Lorraine who are both 80 yrs. old PLUS! They are die hard collectors and still go out what we call saleing (estate sales, auctions, etc.) every weekend. Well, the bug hit us too and we started getting interested in various collectibles, etc. So, we started buying on eBay as it is THE WORLD'S MARKETPLACE, right? Well, the buying sort of led us to selling and here we are :-).

WE ARE PLEASED TO SHIP WORLD WIDE! We use the United States Postal Service as well, to tell the truth, they give us free boxes :-)! Priority Mail is our most common method of shipping and we utilize Parcel Post and Media Mail when applicable. For our International buyers, we use an array of shipping methods offered by the USPS which includes Global Priority, Air Letter Post, etc.
