Currently, I have no favorites beyond lots of old Rock and Roll bands from the 60's 70's and 80's...just a favorite CD--12 Songs by Neil Diamond especially Evermore-reminds me of someone. Lately-Simple Song of Freedom by Bobby Darin--reminds me of another time & place.Oh yeah, The Pretender-Jackson Browne-reminds of the same someone, The Night Watchman-One Man Revolution by Tom Morello-finally, some protest music that captures it!! Film sountracks are a big passion of mine-The Mission by the incomparable Ennio Morricone-sublime, Purple Rain, Footloose, Dirty Dancing, Titanic, Braveheart, Romeo & Juliet, Passion:Last Temptation of Christ, Akira, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, English Patient, Natural Born Killers, The Godfather- my second Nino Rotta, The Big Chill, The Crow, The Matrix and Lord of Rings Trilogy.

Rome, Sopranos-Don't watch much TV--only movies. Kingdom Hospital, when it's on, Meadowlands, DEXTER of course, Brotherhood-can't miss a series about my old home town, True Blood-can't miss a series filmed up the road from my best friend's house...and Babylon 5, Fringe, Lie to Me, Blood Ties, Serenity, HATE REALITY SHOWS-it's all BS anyway!

I prefer Paypal but also accept money orders. Credit and debit cards are accepted through Paypal.

I ship on Tuesdays and Fridays at noon. Payments received after that time will be shipped on the NEXT available regular shipping day. I use UPS, USPS and Fedex. I will select the carrier that gives the best rate for the size and weight of your package.

This is a family owned business and as such I realize that we are what we sell. I make every effort to accurately describe and photograph each item in order to help you make an informed buying decision. Measurements are made and fabrics described with a trained eye and years of experience with vintage textiles. But I'm not perfect and will gladly accept any item returned within 5 days of receipt, unused and in the same condition in which it was sent, no questions asked. I will refund the full cost of purchase only, not the original shipping cost, and can not pay for return shipping or insurance. I do not require insurance but we are NOT responsible for lost items and will not refund for them. Therefore, I recommend insurance.

Because when my daughter got married in 2006 she had a themed wedding-Lord of the Rings. NOTHING was available to buy ready made--I really mean nothing. So, I put on my thinking cap and became an event planner and a designer. Now, my kids can't be the only ones who want a theme wedding, can they? Nope- and so shabeestitches was born.
