I am not a big book reader, but love to read magazines on painting, How to books, candle making, I belong to the National Home Gardening Club, and backyard living.

Worked for a major communication company, took a 30 year retirement. Use to do a lot of sewing(quilts, wedding gowns and tailored mens shirts) Needless to say I burned out 2 sewing machines in one year. As a joke my husband came home with a scroll saw. Thats how I started making my own product and then I ventured into painting. I did craft shows traveling across NY, Pa, and Ohio. Driving a large white cargo van and towing a white trailer, it got to be too much on me. It was hard to find someone to go with and doing shows alone was very hard. Then my daughter broke her neck, then a year later my sister broke her neck. Both stayed with me, thank heaven I was able help. My husband suggested I try something else. I started a web site awesomecrafts.com a couple years ago. I like ebay, I have friends, I don't feel alone.
