We are Lancasters of Biddulph , we started selling many years ago on markets, then country shows and steam rallies which we still do from time to time during the summer months. We have had a business on ebay for quite a few years.

I like buying and selling on ebay, its like going shopping with a cup of coffee!, press the button & delivered to the door brilliant. However distance selling has its problems as you cannot see or feel the item in front of you except by the description from the seller& sometimes their personal opinion may differ from your own, you cannot please all the people all the time but some of the people some of the time and no matter how hard you try & how hard you work someone, somewhere at sometime will not be happy with their purchase. It is then that flexibility & friendly communication come into their own as there is no problem that cannot be solved. I feel that negative feedback should only be left for non payers or non senders! anything else in between can be resolved, and what I HATE MOST about ebay is when someone has a concern or problem and instead of contacting me for a refund or replacement they just leave bad feedback which has happened to me several times. shame.

I have got up in the early hours to stand on cold markets for next to nothing, I have stood on muddy fields at country shows in the pouring rain, I have worked in beautiful sunshine in some wonderful parts of the country and loved my job, I sit 12 hours a day at the computer, on and off, in between packing parcels, buying stock, photograping vehicles, writing adverts, dealing with customers,shopping, ironing, washing, cleaning, cooking, and answering emails that say I emailed you ten minutes ago and you havent replied yet! always from a bloke!

anything at all as long as the bank will take it!

The cost of the post isnt just the cost of the stamp and a decent large sized jiffy envelope isnt cheap these days! It also takes someones time to wrap it, parcel tape and diesel to get to the post office every day, all these little bits add up and when you run your ebay life as a business it all has to count, we even have to work in the cost of the advert, so we charge as little as we possibly can without losing money but without making any on the postage. I try and get items to you within 48 hours if at all possible, just think of all those hours I spend packing!!

we always accept returns, within 7 days, of a resellable item.

email us through ebay, if we are involved in a transaction you get our direct email address and our business phone number is plastered on ebay somewhere.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE always try and communicate with your seller, not just me but anyone that you may purchase from. dont just leave a negative or neutral feedback without at least giving the seller a chance to talk to you, if you email allow time because not everyone logs on every day, if you have emailed a couple of times over say a 7 day period try and find a phone number, if all else fails then of course you must leave whatever feedback is appropriate in your case.
