I can't hear the door anymore!
Just replaced the rollers on my probably original 60 year old garage door rollers. They were the old steel ball bearing types with around 8ish balls inside. After replacing just 10 of the 12 bearings, the door became amazingly quiet. I can still occasionally hear a soft click or 2 from the old bottom bearing but it's hardly noticeable. I did not replace the bottom roller because I didn't bend out the rail to remove them. Instead, I removed the hinges with an electric driver.
