Hello, we are the Birds of Fire, born in Augsburg, Germany in 1985. We were designed and made in Paris, France from plush polyester fabric and stuffed with polyester fiber filling. We have travelled all over the US. We live in a china cabinet in DFW.

Nice stuff that we don't need or use, except for things that we give away to children.

We were originally designed to be toys for children, but wound up going home with some adults. It's not too bad. They take care of us, but we don't get played with as much as we should.

We expect to be paid via PayPal immediately upon the end of an auction. After all, this is the internet. Everything moves at the speed of light, which we don't understand what that means because we are polyester birds. If you don't pay us, we will not send you anything, of course, so what difference does it make? We've heard that some people bid on things that they don't really want and then they don't pay. If you do that to us we will send you a negative feedback message and report you to the eBay people. Then we will relist the item and sell it to someone else.

As soon as we get a confirmed PayPal address, that's where we send the stuff. We get so excited when there is a package on the doorstep! That's why we send stuff by the most cost effective method that is still quick. We don't quibble about shipping costs. If you paid a decent price and you added the reasonable shipping costs that we expected you to pay, then we figure out how to get you the stuff. That means we reserve the right to use substitute methods of shipping. For example, we may charge you for USPS, but then ship FedEx ground because we are afraid that your stuff might get broken if we don't. In such a case, we pay the difference in shipping costs, because we try to make sure you don't get something broken. When we get things that are broken, it makes us sad. We think you would be sad, too. We can't control the shipping people, so sometimes things do get broken, anyway. You must file a claim with the shipper. We will attempt to support your claim, if possible.

We blabber and cackle something terrible. If you can't figure out what it is that you are buying from our lengthy and detailed descriptions, plus pictures, then don't bid on our stuff. We are not responsible for misunderstandings of any sort. You are buying from a pair of polyester plush toys who live in a china cabinet.

For the most part, talking to us is like talking to a pillow. Why would anyone want to contact us?

eBay is not everything in the world to us. We have our part to play in the larger world. We do business on eBay for fun. We have fun buying things from you. If you are not completely honest with us, we won't have much fun with you and we will remember. So we will try to create an atmosphere where you can have some fun and we hope that you will have fun doing business with us.
