eBay My World: latelyn( 961)

I started selling on eBay because I was suffering from the dreaded empty nest syndrome. My youngest son said, Mom get a life, or something to that effect. Now that I have collected boxes full of things of interest to sell, I am moving!

Collectible dishes, flatware, toys, jewelry, ornaments and anything I am no longer in need of in my own closets and drawers. It may not be listed just yet, but I probably have it. I am having a huge moving sale in my garage. I just don't have time to list all.

I have bought lots of gifts on eBay. My Mom collects Avon cape cod, one son collects banks, another collects coins, and my Other is a Packer fanatic. I sometimes get something for me from jewelry clothes to decorations. I like to shop!

I like to read, cross stitch and float in the lake!

I have read so many. The Da Vinci Code was fun to read. I loved the Thornbirds, and the Covenant and Hannibal. I also like books by Echo Bodine and Rosemary Altea. I read romance books when I float in the lake. I also have books on Plato, Jung, and Freud that I read when I am in a mood to pay attention and think. Again very eclectic taste.

Gone with the wind, Silence of the lambs, Wizard of Oz. I like psycho thrillers but also a good cartoon. Love Shrek!

Fleetwood Mac is my all time fav! More so Stevie songs. Also Janis, Tina, and Dylan. Train is one I listen to a lot, and Matchbox 20, Lisa Marie, INXS. Basically I love rock and roll from all of the era's. I also like some country, Reba's great! Again there is that eclectic taste coming through.

Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, Desperate Housewives, Ghost Whisperer and Medium. Any home decorating/renovation show I like. Two and half men crack me up! My very favorite of all time is Absolutely Fabulous. My son said I would fit right in with Eddy and Patsy. How fun would that be to spend a day with them?

After a year of collecting and learning so much about dishes and flatware, I am moving. I have had fun learning about collectibles and how to sell on eBay. My sons are happy and healthy and 2000 miles away from me. They will not be coming back to the Red River Valley. Now it is time for me to have an adventure. My son told not to follow them around, after all they are just out of college and may move a few times in there career life. I should pick a place where I really want to live. He thinks I am too old to move around a lot. Well, I picked Hawaii! I applied for a civil job with the Navy, in Victim Service. No I haven't gotten anything but a letter saying I am qualified. Now my Other is completing his application for an RN position and has VET preference. Yes we would like the federal jobs but will apply for others too. We are definitely selling our house. Why Hawaii. My health requires warmth but I am deathly afraid of snakes. Hawaii has none! So wish me luck and thank you.
