WHY is my FEEDBACK NOT PERFECT ??
I choose to demand more integrity from eBay users, and resultant there are those who will begrudge me on rare occasion.
I take care with my products and packing to withstand severe abuse by post or UPS. I communicate with my sellers, I resource packing materials free/nil cost, & still pack with reinforcemts, baffles, sturdy imobilized non shiftable contents, etc...and as a BUYER I bid on many very breakable items: old pottery...or heavy metal mixers, with brakable bakelight,& glass bowls...items which require some real thought and care to survive post or UPS. I expect such items to be carefully packed: often tossing them into a box of peanuts is NOT adequate-I KNOW by seeing on my porch several - sakes alive- I've long lost count!, several broken busted irreplaceable pieces of history shattered in the transit due to careless packing. Nothing I've sent has ever broken. RARELY I MAY REFUSE TO PAY! if seller indicates overly a lack of careing! I insist: Integrity; Decent Service.

Shipping information
I'm never in a hurry...I want sellers to take their time packing carefully, and hit the PO or UPS at their convenience. Many of us do this part time, or occasionally, so at your convenience is so much nicer.
Return policy
My return policy is that I will pay HALF the RETURN shipping if you are not satisfied. This shows I stand by my product, but also protects me from tempting casual undue returns.

Communicate with your buyers.
How you communicate with your buyers can be indicative of how you treat other aspects of your transction. If you show care in communicating it inticates a probability of care in other aspects, too, such as packing. Expressing your concientiousness is important, and builds buyer confidence.
Feedback Forum Fails to Function
Ostensibly, the Feedback Forum is a buyer protection. My experiences and observations lead me to conclude this forum fails in its ostensible purpose. I see several indications of this - I think it telling, for example that often I notice a very harsh negative messge in the positive feedback catagory, and I dont chalk that always up to keyboard error. Folks are AFRAID to leave neg feedback because undoubtedly the seller will retaliate vindictively. You cannot speak you mind without risking adding usually receiving neg feedback yourself. I have received more than one damaged item from a seller who then instead of rectifying their mistake leaves me bad feedback. (improved Forum still doesn't have a how-well-was-it-packed option) I choose to take feedback with a BIG GRAIN of SALT and understand that occasionally UNDUE neg feedbacks are posted. (WE understand that ebay is too unweildy to police transactions except by robot systems ie dispute forum - these of rather limited effect.
