All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
A nurse with two Phd's, a MVA and cancer forced me to retrain so I could be useful and keep working. I own and operate a full line gift and jewelry store myself- I also do repair work and custom designs!

Don't sweat the small stuff
After surviving 2 cancers and a spinal cord injury..I wanted to still work and not sit at home...that is why I retrained..but I also learned not to stress at the small stuff. People can be wonderful, but can also be very petty and take advantage of someone's giving nature. You will find I am extremely honest, and if I don't know something I will tell you I don't instead of telling you some BS. I would rather be able to trust people's good will and nature rather than distrust. When you buy from me the income pays for my medical bills so at least you know it is not going to some sweatshop in another country. I have no employees and do all the work myself. That being said..if I become ill (because of my spine or lupus) I will notify you so you don't think I am ignoring my computer. Especially if I am hospitalized which still happens occasionally! Thank you! Patti
Business InformationHistory/background
Due to a horrible building situation in which my storefront was flooded due to poor upkeep by the owners, I have been forced to shut down as of July 2007 and work strickly from the internet and my home. I am doing my facials and body piercings in the privacy of local clients homes within a reasonable travel area, so if you are from the Pittsburgh area...feel free to email for info! It makes it much harder to cover medical costs without the storefront so any referrals are greatly appreciated! Patti
Return policy
I do returns on most products. There are no returns on pierced earrings and body jewelry due to state health laws which prohibit the return of those items. I also do not return watches, as parts have been removed and the watch sent back without the stolen parts!
If it's too good to be true-it probably is!!
I've noticed recently that some buyers are hesitant to purchase higher priced items...know that most of my prices on new pieces are less than a 20% mark up. Generally , most jewelry has between a 300%-1000% mark up from cost on the pieces. Since my work pays for my medication and treatment, I only do a minimal mark-up, however this doesn't leave much room for slow times! I have been lucky enough at times to buy stock from business that have not made it, so I can pass the savings on to you, however, those pieces are what they are, and what was already set for another company...so you are limited in choices. I do special orders and if you are unsure, I encourage you to compare with your local jewelers on my prices! Just make sure you are comparing exacts..including the quality of the gemstone or diamond.!! It makes a huge difference in price and look!
