some fiddling at beggining but once it's working it is a great product
this is an older car but it stills packs a punch. i can run dragon age: origins with all the settings to the max.
my comp has an Athlon 64 x2 and 4 GB ram.
this card however is HUGE. physically i takes occupies two pci slots and it's about 9 inches long. i had to rearrange a couple of my harddrives to make room and disconnect one of my SATA drives since the SATA wire got in the way.
Also keep in mind that this card has no VGA output only DVI x2
so far no overheating issues with windows 7 Ultimate. i would recommend you install the driver from your Windows CD and not the driver from the web. The newer nvidia driver made my CPU run at 70%+ at idle. After making the change now it idles at 3-5%.
btw the card specifies that you need a power supply unit with at least 550w. i tried it with my 450w psu and i didnt work, so i had to upgrade.
dont expect any support from BFG since their is always down.
i am very happy with this card. i can play games and watch 1080p videos

Gears of War (Limited Collector's Edition)
obviously the games is one of the best ive played. graphics are excellent, as well as playability.
i will focus on the dvd.
rubbish.
if you thought you were getting extraordinarily special, you would be wrong. the dvd is compilation of home movies starring the art directors kids. although cute as a button hardly the thing a hardcore gaming geek would be interested in.
there is a fairly long bit about the cramming session getting ready for Emergence day, you get to see the man himself in this on, Bill Gates.
aside from that and the tin box. theres really nothing of value here.
also, keep in mind that anything that says 'collector's editon' in the title is hardly collectible since it was probably mass produced. so if youre expecting to keep this and make some money later, i got some beans i would like to trade for your house.

2 of 2 found this helpful so far i've enjoyed flawless operation from this product. no crashes, no missing data. very good value for the money, and also very handsome looks. if i didn't know better i would think it was made by apple.
i guess my only complain would be that you cannot connect to more than one computer at once, despite having firewire 400, 800, usb 2.0 and SATA connections.
on a minor note i would like to have some control over the brightness of the light. it looks great during the day, however, at night it's like having the full moon dancing in your bedroom, beautiful to look at, but at some point you've got to have some sleep.
