History/background
I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. When I was a kid, I would make things like potholders and incense bags to sell door to door in my neighborhood, Coconut Creek, FL. I started doing hair around 12, the first time I had a pair of scissors in my hand, I cut my mother's back (OUCH). I have been a professional stylist for about 15 years. I owned a hair salon for 5 yr and when the real estate prices began to rise with no end in sight, I found out the owner of my plaza was almost doubling our leases. I sold my business the day my lease had to be renewed (WHEW, God is great!) I then decided to jump the real estate money train and get my Mortgage Broker's License. One year into my new chosen career path property values began to tumble 20% or more, so I started doing hair again. Luckily, I am pretty good at it and retained many past clients. I work part time doing hair now. I have about 30 credits toward my AA in psych and have held a Mortgage Brokers License in both FL and NC
