My mother is American, my father Brazilian. I was born in Brazil and spent many childhood years, there. Many of my relatives were known for their fantastically beautiful handwork. We had a master seamstress/coutourier, who came to our house to do all the sewing for the family. She taught me many of the skills required to make beautiful clothes. Most of the skills are handcrafting beautiful traditional methods of forcing materials to fit spaces they really don't want to go into. When they are worked with skill, they can look out of this world. I practiced my skills by making all my clothes as a teenager, college student and young arrier woman. Friends came to me requesting that I make clothes for them, and I would agree, if they agreed to come for fittings. When I had daughters, I made most of theirs, also. There was always the issue of fittings, even for their wedding dresses. Sewing for dolls is a coutourier's dream, as there is no need for them to make appts for fittings.

I find Paypal to be the easiest way to transfer funds.
