See my "bottom line" !
I bought the Coby dvd player as an inexpensive player to supplement the glitchy dvd player on my 5 year old laptop. The price was right, I committed and have been pleased with its performance.
The only caution I might mention is that the latch that opens and closes the dvd turntable "door" is rather flimsy and needs to be operated with careful attention to avoid breaking it....so far, I have.
The player comes with abundant accessories, the wireless headphones being the highlight. (But are they free of health risks? My quick google of the issue turned up no clear answer).
I recommend the Coby as a 2nd line resource in your entertainment-tech "library"!
