Ready-to-knapp stone: Heat treated cherts and flints. Prefer percussion blanks, but do use sawn slabs sometimes. Use antler, ivory, wood, bone, horn, other exotic knife handle materials.

I hunt arrowheads and have a collection numbering in the thousands of pieces, all from southwest Wisconsin, my home. Finding arrowheads is what started my whole pasion for archaeology, flintknapping, and ultimately making and using primitive weapons, primitive cordage, and other primitive technologies.
