Raising Five Grandchildren has really made me appreciate a dollar. I do 80% of my shopping for clothes and house hold things in thrift shops and yard sales and I have come across some wonderful things. These items include jeans, shoes, clothes, lamps, dishes, diapers, bedspreads, pot&pans, even fruit juces and can goods. Name brand purse, lots of Antiques. My children never even know that there jeans are used because they barely have been worn. I feel great when I can dress each child with a new outfit with 30.00. lol.
