Hello!! I am a mother of a thirteen year old boy and a nine year old girl. I am a special education teacher at an elementary school. I have been happily married for 15 years!!

I typically sell my children's old items to buy new ones for them. For my daughter that means sylish clothes, new books, and shoes. For my son that means Sci-Fi books, JNCO Jeans and an occasional video game.

I am not a collector, as my collections have always collected dust. My daughter, however, loves her Barbie and Porcelin Doll collections. My son collects trading cards as well as HESS trucks. I just collect the bills from helping them with their collections.

I enjoy playing cards or board games with my family, shopping, playing on POGO.COM, and researching new teaching ideas for my classroom. I also enjoy spending hours on the phone with my mother and sister!

I am not a big movie fan, but I must say that Iron Man was pretty good as was Speed Racer. I also enjoyed Enchanted and JUNO.

I enjoy 80's music, some country, actually .... I like a variety!

I started selling on e-bay one summer when I had extra time on my hands, because I am a teacher and don't work in the summer. I had discovered that my children didn't want me to have the summer off any more just to be with them, but to taxi them to people they really wanted to be with...their friends. When it wasn't friends it was to and from dance, karate, art classes etc. I had always bagged things up and passed them along. My hubby suggested that I try to sell some of the things I was getting rid of, and he set me up with this account. He doesn't benefit from the income directly, as I usually spend my e-bay income on purchasing from other e-bay sellers. I am quick to remind him, however, that I am saving his money everytime I buy something off e-bay...which includes the kids' school clothes as well as some Christmas presents.

I accept only Pay Pal. I have run into problems with checks, and don't like to wait for them to clear. I also do not live close to my bank and hate to drive on the days my children don't require me to. I will make exceptions on occasion if I am contacted in advance and if someone has a great feedback rating with more than 25 feedbacks.

I typically ship via Priority Mail because it isn't that much more expensive in most situations. I also am able to get my boxes for free from the post office. When I ship via other methods it actually costs me money to get boxes and I have to pay extra from tracking. The cost to you is almost the same when I add in my extra costs. I currently charge actual shipping plus one dollar handling. This helps me pay for the listing, the packing tape, the printer ink, gasoline, and printer paper. There are no other hidden costs in my shipping. When shipping books, I will ship Media Mail. I mostly sell things in lots to make your shipping worthwhile. I typically ship almost daily in the summer. During the school year it is more difficult and I try to ship within 48 hours, but sometimes it is 72 hours. Between my work schedule and the kids after school schedules and homework, I am quite busy during the school year.

I do not accept returns, however, if I grossly misrepresent something or miss a major flaw, please e-mail me. I will correct a mistake if I make it.

amie1996 is my sister. She sells a lot of my nephews clothes (he is almost 6). She has quality boys clothes at a reasonable price and rarely uses a reserve.
