Generally I ship via USPS. I would ship with anothe carrier if it were requested.

I am an individual selling items as is in true auction format. However, if someone felt like their item was grossly misrepresented, I would certainly accept the item returned in the same fashion it was shipped, refund their purchase price, less shipping.
