I am a farm girl who now lives in the 'burbs, but still wants to preserve the natural lifestyle I enjoyed as a child. I have a houseful of pets, raise an organic garden, and firmly believe in reduce, re-use and recycle. And self-sufficiency.

I touched on this a little in All About Me. I started my company because I wanted to share my handmade products with others - my family and friends kept saying, You should sell this! So I did. I strive to use natural, organic ingredients in my skin and home care products, and grow the herbs myself whenever possible. I use repurposed and recycled materials in my packaging, and to make greeting cards, stationery and decorative items. Most of my painting is done on wood items I find during my treasure hunts. I love to find new uses for things that might ordinarily be discarded, and have a deep appreciation for the history of vintage items and old photographs. My jewelry pieces are usually one-of-a-kind, and I consider them a form of artistic expression. I make things I would wear myself (sometimes it's hard to part with them!) and I hope others would like to wear, too. I am just an old-fashioned girl in a brave new world, trying to keep up while bringing along what's worth saving.

Began as a homemaker in Germany while my husband was in the military. Sold items in AFB craft shops. After returning to the U.S., sold in a craft mall for a while, then craft shows. Now do several shows a year, while selling in local shops and on Ebay.

PayPal for now. Am planning to add credit cards and personal checks/money orders in the future.
