Every Song Is Great
I was skeptical of this cd before I listened to it all the way thru - St. James is not the greatest singer. HOWEVER, all the songs are fantastic and my opinion of her singing has changed too. Hauntingly beautiful melodies, plus many powerful rock songs too! Her singing style is surprisingly sexy with lots of breathiness, but not in a bad way. Guitars are prevalent and melodic, with every tune being catchy. The lyrics are devoutly Christian. Overall songwriting and production is first rate.
