I moved to Santa Barbara almost 9 years ago, having packed up my house in Maine where I had lived for 28 years. I also had to pack up my mother's house in Pennsylvania where she had lived with the accumulation of two grandmothers' stuff ... and I sold a lot when I moved.. but I brought tons of it here to California!
