Great unit - best in price category
Excellent quality. This is a real lab-grade milligram scale with good repeatability (±0.001g) that keeps calibration pretty well even after repeated measures. Had another JA1003 from a couple of years ago that went bad because the internal battery was lead-acid which is a design flaw because it's not replaceable. The internal battery isn't there just to make it more portable. If it dies the unit won't power on with just the power adapter plugged in. I can't tell what type of battery this updated version has but hoping it's not the same - if it is expect about 3 years of use.

They're garbage basically. All of them crack when you use the cap because it is too tight and the plastic wall too thin to withstand the pressure. Waste of money.
