Born and raised in Williamstown, WV. pop 1200 at the time. Both my maternal grandfather and my aunt on my father's side owned neighborhood grocery stores. I was born in Williamstown WV right after WWII. Work history is very eclectic..chemical technician, environmental site assessment..clerk in an antique/junk store, Fenton Art Glass..Corning Glass..loan clerk in the town bank.. STORE NAME: I have always been in awe of my beautiful mother. She was born in 1916. Like all the strong and beautiful women from that era, my Mother taught me that style and taste are not about how much money you spend..it is an art. They wore their clothes and jewelry like a movie star and spent very little. They kept worn out things and reworked them..They wasted nothing. The creativity and attitude of these ladies has always taken my breath away.That is why I love to collect and share examples of their world. THE 'LADIES' are all the items we rescue and share.
