I'm excited about just turning 60, and I love the color red!

I sell things my older children have outgrown and don't want anymore and things my younger stepchildren don't want, as well as stuff around the house that I don't want either. I am going to start going to estate and garage sales this summer to see what I can find to sell. I have also sold one quilt wall hanging and plan to sell more.

I used to collect Royal Doulton figurines of the ladies, but I have enough now. I like Laurel Burch earrings.

I don't know any of the new people, but my H.S. and college kids try to keep me informed. I still like the Beatles, Cher, Annie Lennox, Tom Tom Club. I also enjoy classical music, new age, Mannheim Steamrolelr.

Medium, Gray's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, The View, HBO specials and series, and I especially like movies.

I sell once in a while, and it's usually fun. It's also lots of work. I've noticed this year that people seem less willing to pay nominal amounts for things vs. last year when items sold quickly. Has anyone else noticed this? Or maybe I'm just selling things nobody wants! Ha ha.

I would like to make this more into a business and could use some advice. Where do people find suppliers with super discounted prices of Waterford, etc.? Is it OK or a turn-off to charge a small handling fee? How does one get a company to do your pictures for you? Any other suggestions/advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
